Getting Paid

How much can I make?

VIPKid offers a generous base pay of US $14-$18 hourly. In addition to the base pay, there are bonuses for each lesson you teach.

At the end of your 6-month contract, VIPKid will evaluate you for a raise in pay. You will receive your payments via direct deposit around the 15th of each month.

When do I get paid?

Teachers can choose to be paid monthly or Bi-monthly.

Taxes: As a self-employed contractor of VIPKID, you are responsible for filing your own individual income tax returns and remitting taxes as required. Please consult with your tax adviser for the reporting requirements. VIPKID will provide 1099s for the full taxable year.
