If you are like me, you have faced internet stability issues within your VIPKID journey. Sometimes, they truly are our network or equipment issues. However, I do not believe that is the case in the majority of cases teachers face. My husband is an electronics engineer. He has stated that with the number of users on the VIPKID platform it is impossible for the servers to handle the class load without issues on VIPKID's end. Here are some sure fire ways to prove your network is NOT at fault.
1) Check your connection using the official VIPKID network stability testing site:
2) Use a network restore. A net resetter is a device that resets your router or modem at a specific time each day. You can clic my Amazon link in the "Teacher Gear" tab of this blog to get one today!
3) Clear App and browser cache
4) Use a screen recorder to provide evidence of steps you took moment by moment in class
-VIPKID network test (you can run this test more than once by refreshing the screen)
-loading other websites in your browser at same time as network issue was occurring
-speedtest.net (as stated in the video below the VIPKID test is better but it never hurts to double up evidence)
Always have a back up source (iPad or a laptop on hand)
